Morning! sitting in the doc office now and thought I would share the latest. Labs are looking good and today is the first day I am finally feeling better….yayyyy!!! The pain in my neck/head caused for a very uncomfortable week. My port was removed Friday due to an infection so I spent most of the weekend at SCCA having IV antibiotic. 90 min infusions twice A day mixed with 45 min to mix the antibiotics and 2 hours total drive time back and forth quickly turn into a full exhausting day. I spent most of the week in a hospital bed or our bed in the trailer and i hate it! Today we plan to check out the nearby dog/kid park for some much needed fresh air. I will continue on oral antibiotics for the next 8 days with the hope that a new port can be put in later this month before the next round of chemo starts on the 30th. Otherwise, I’ll get a picc line which is just uncomfortable and higher chance of another infection. This week is when they expect my numbers to drop due to the chemo resulting in mainly fatigue. dad is staying with Harper and I while Chris takes off for a few days to work on the road. We may venture to Portland area later this week for a change of scenery depending on how I am feeling and when the wound care team schedules me to check on the port healing. Xoxo

You are in our prayers Cassidy. I am a cancer survivor. I've not undergone what you are going through, but I believe in the power of prayer. Here goes... Dear Lord, you know what Cassidy and her family are going through. Please give her strength and shrink all cancers in her body. You are the healer and I pray you work through her and the doctors to provide complete healing and happiness. Amen!

I am so happy that you've had a good couple days minus the amount of hours you've spent at the hospital. I hope you found a park or two for Harpie today. Hopefully it's cooler up there today! Love you much!! 💗
