Last weeks scan showed 2 tumors remained unchanged, 1 shrunk, and 1 grew. Basically, unchanged from the last scan. This leads the doc to believe the trial drug is probably going to be ineffective in the near future.
I went ahead with infusion on Monday and will have one more in Feb before we scan again. I was down for a couple days after infusion but feeling better today. Baking sourdough and banana bread as part of my healing and therapy. š„ā¤ļø
There is a new clinical trial in Seattle that may be an option if we have to discontinue my current treatment. This means we could be living in Seattle again in a couple monthsā¦ugh! I could also try a different chemo regimen locally at St. Charles under the supervision of my Seattle oncologist. We reached out to Dr. Ratan at MD Anderson as well for his thoughts on the next step.
