Infection is doing great!

Blood cultures came back and no infection in the blood….yay!! Port removal wound is healing great. I was taken off of IV antibiotics for the weekend due to lack of availability for IV antibiotic. SCCA has limited weekend hours and the hospitals don‘t have any availability. I am scheduled to have a PICC placed tomorrow morning and will then resume IV antibiotics for another 9 days. They are trying to set me up to do this myself at home (RV home) so we don’t have to travel back and forth 3x a day to SCCA. Overall, feeling pretty good right now. This next week will be a rest and healing week prior to round 2 on 8/30.
