Hi my wonderful tribe!
I just got scheduled with Dr Ganjoo at Stanford sarcoma dept in Palo Alto for Jan 5th. I will fly from there to Seattle for infusion in the 6th and then back home. side note - these docs aren’t easy to get in with. This specific one I had to send clinicals to and they decide if they will take U on as a new patient. It’s nuts!
Jan 24th I meet with Dr. Ratan at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.
Both of these docs/clinics are well known for LMS. Up until now, I was committed to the trail I was in at SCCA and it took up a lot of my free time. Now I need all the options! different clinics offer different trials, some docs may recommend surgery, others may refuse. There are so many choices to make with this diagnosis and not much time to make a decision when first diagnosed. I feel like we made the right one thus far as my tumor growth has stabilized. We are just preparing for what’s next and getting all the options.
