Morning my tribe!! last week I completed round two of chemo along with the clinical trial drug. I was able to take the full dose this time so that was good (1st round my body could only handle about half). Still dealt with side effects but pretty normal as the trial drug is pretty intense. L19TNF is the trial drug for those interested. My blood pressure dropped, liver numbers increase, got restless leg syndrome from some of the nausea meds, blah blah blah. Butttttt, my numbers are pretty much back to normal now (minus white blood cells being a little low) so my body is fighting well. We are stepping it up this week and eating as clean as possible to keep me strong. I‘m back on antibiotics as the port site is infected again (probably caused by chemo). Fatigue and belly pain this week but otherwise well.
We traveled back to Sunriver Tuesday so Harper could start school Wednesday.…yayyyy!! We will be here until sept 18th then back to Seattle for round 3. I will fly to Seattle this Sunday for a bunch of labs/imaging in the 13th. The 13th is a huge day as it will be the first scan I have had in almost 3 month. Praying those stupid tumors are shrinking.
Massage scheduled later today and a couple acupuncture appointments next week to hopefully help with some of the side effects I’ve had during treatment.
That’s it in a nutshell. Thank you for all the continued support and love! ❤️
