What’s next?

Writer's picture: cass.muchmorecass.muchmore

quick update! Currently having my second dose of chemo for round 9 of this regimen (gem/tax). Each round is 21 days with 2 weeks of chemo and 1 week off. Last 2 rounds have been hard on my body and taking longer to recover. I think we may be at the end of the road for this chemo due to toxicity.

So, what’s next right? Monday, sept 13th, I have a CT scan to see if these little turds are still shrinking.

within a week or so after my scan I will meet with my regular oncologist in Seattle and am also meeting with a new oncologist at Stanford in Palo Alto Cali on the 21st. Between these two visits I hope to have an update on what’s next for this crazy journey. Hoping surgery but not sure if that will be an option.

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend weekend! enjoying seeing all the kiddos pics as they head back to school. Harper starts tomorrow:)

love, Cass

I'm sorry that these rounds have been so brutal on your body Cass. Hang in there you beautiful being... you are so strong and courageous, even when you may not feel that way. You are loved! I pray for ease in your body, spirit, and mind. Keep up your badass-ery! Love, Jen

Also sending prayers: Loving God, I pray that you will comfort Cassidy in her suffering, lend skill to the hands of her healers, and bless the means used for her cure. Give her such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when she is afraid, she may put her whole trust in you; through our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
